You can always buy a black orsa for $375-400, Then have it sent out to have the dial painted with the 3T and your name, Then just mark the back with a felt tip black marker with what ever # you want out of 33. There ya go a L.E. FESTIVAS.!

Orsa was banned there long before the current issues arose.  This happened during Orsa's early days, if I recall correctly, because some of the early watches (quartz) were considered to be too close a resemblence to CWC, among others. The members (a great group of people) there are incredibly knowledgeable about military watches, and refuse to allow anything considered a knock-off or close to a knock-off to be sold there. The various "Ray" watches are also not welcome there, largely because of his use of hyperbole in his ads.

The MWR Unplugged forum is a great place for non-watch topics. I'm proud to be a regular there.

I don't understand. Why would you guys wear a watch from a company that pissed off everyone and is shady to boot. Makes no sense to me. Aren't there other watches from legit companies you could strap on your wrist? I mean why endorse the Orsa brand by wearing one?

When a friend asks you about the Orsa watch you have on, what'd gonna say? They're scumbags, but I got a great deal on a used one. Like I said, it makes no sense. cat28.gif

The new company seems to be Ocean7.  A number of us made payment this evening for the LM-1, which will be delivered next week. Pictures and reviews to follow.

Thanks for the welcome!

Yes, it is a totally different company.  Mitch, the owner, has a number of new designs that he has worked out, with some input from the forum, coming out over the next few months.  Those of us who have been in on the ground floor are very excited about our watches that are due to arrive on our wrists next week.
