Fantastic shots, Edge. It is not the camera... its your eye. The camera helps and hurts... you can't hide anything.

Are these natural lighting or indoor? Oscar hooked me up on the bet indoor light which made a but load of difference..

Why must you gear up as we approach pic of the year? TD, too. Gonna have some fun!!

Thank you Ken and Pax. I'm using a light tent with two small halogen lights along with ambient daylight indoors.

Looks good. Oscar is holding back on you. He turned me on to the day light lamps. I am using one overhead and two clip on desk lamps with full spectrum high efficiency bulbs which are damn near like fluoroescent... I had some big ass halogens and I felt everything was just oo sepia toned.

The pics look great and they are just going to get better!!

Halogens

Full spectrum

Do you see an appreciable difference?

Yes! the white balance is much more natural. That will be my next acquisition. You guys are going to make a 1/2 arsed picture taker out of me yet. A big thanks to you and especially to Oscar.

Model numbers and sources on the equipment would be MUCH appreciated.

Why, because I want to be able to take pictures that are at least 1/2 as nice as those here!yourock.gif

When your pictures get that good, and they are very good man, I'm shooting with a camera with a limited macro and no lightbox, you can process the pics in photoshop to clean up any dust spots or adjust color in a specific area with the right plug-ins for photoshop like nikons filter pack.
