What's the quickest you've owned a watch before you flipped it? I'll define "ownership period" from the time the watch hits your hands. . . to the time you receive payment for it from somebody else.

I have a feeling there are some folks that'll break records! boy10.gif

I have sold so few of mine, I wouldn't even know.....probably about 6 months.  I have a bunch I should sell, but I just never seem to get around to it!

You can sell them???? face4.gif

J/K :D, I have a few impulse buys to go but I am too lazy to learn the camera so I can take pics.  One of these days I have a 3 chronos (Sturmanskie, Swiss Military quartz and Seiko vintage) to post.  I sold my Triumph chrono to a friend, traded an MWC W-10 for a numbered limited edition Zippo, and gave away an Alpha so far.

Cheers,
Griff

Most of my flips have been ones that are sitting in their boxes after gettin em and just not likin em as much as their pics...  I think the shortest time frame on one of mine was around 3 months maybe  little less...

I bought one watch that was my "biggest WIS mistake"  I had it in my hands for maybe 8 hours before I listed it, 10 minutes after I listed it, I had payment.... but I bought with the intention of selling it.   I basicly lost my shirt if you consider the time that I had to invest after the sale.   This was the first watch that I bought just to "flip".

Its not on purpose. You never know who's going to contact you while mid process doing a deal. I'm sure you have some pretty good stories on deals Marc. Having your site, you must get some wierd requests?

I get weird, strange, and everything in between! I've had people call me and ask if I can get them a UN Freak.  Don't know why someone would ask. . . very confusing coyote2.gif

Sad to say; one week.

While I try to stay away from impulse decisions and always give it some time, this one just didn't click with me.

Cheers

Matt
