Got a catalog from WorldLux in the mail, and came across this (pic courtesy of rado.ch):

I kind of like it. Nice retro look. List of $1350, which seems reasonable. Anyone have experience of the watch/brand?

Oscar, how much do you know about Jomashop since you mentioned about them.

BTW, this Rado is real looker. 2824-2 (may be, not sure), sapphire crystal, with scratch resistant Tungsten bezel and the rest is all SS.

Good luck with the hunt cool10.gif

Rado is a great, old time brand owned by the SWATCH Group.  I also have purchased from Jomashop with good results!

the case reminds me of my pirelli's. There is a dealer here in Nashville that has them now. Might try to wrangle one.

Mine is from the mid 70's and still looks great. I just had the 2824-2 cleaned and regulated and it is ticking along at about +2 SEC./DAY.

I want that green dial one sooo bad, but am not sure the size will work for me and don't have the $$$ to risk a disappointment.

Wish the local stores would carry them so I could try one on... :X

Cheers

Matt
