Tis tempting ....I dont mind the weight or even the size , as it would border the absurd ... but I am not sold on the looks yet ...it may have to grow on me ?!?!

What I really like is the stretch pays on a watch thats 2 grand ..... I am hoping theres more like that to come !!!

While I appreciate the technology...I'm not sure I can get the Club to make the pool that much deeper.:)

...and, for that kind of money, I'd rather start scouting for a good, preowned Grand Seiko!

What borders the absurd are big watches whose bigness serves no purpose (see renato and many invicta wristclocks). The bigness of the charmax translates into 12000 ft WR. Its large size (like that of most genuine diver watches) is an advantage for those who dive, but the charmax is one of the few of the former that looks good enough  to wear as a regular everyday watch.
