When I took my marathon apart to polish it it was running at +2 a day. since I put it back together, the 1st 2 days it ran at + 15 sec. a day, then started to lose about the same time after that. I had it in the winder running cw, then turned it to run counter clockwise. Did I bump something to change its rate?

Maybe if you brush the finish again, it will go back to +2 sec/day?

Well, the movement was out to do the work. no extra parts as far as I know, but there so damn small, I could have overlooked something.
