Hi all,

I am torn between this:

Seiko Marinemaster SBDX001

and this one:

Glycine Lagunare Chronometer LE

Both pictures stoled from ze internets

Your opinions? And maybe an idea where the Glycine LE could be had for a decent price? Just in case? happy1.gif

Well they both are rockin watches. :cool: I would go for the Glycine probably first if you can score a good price.

But you know what they say if you can't make your mind get both. LOL :D

Looks like the Glycine retail is $2450 USD and several sites I found on have that blasted email and ask for price thing. LOL :D

I've owned this Glycine for the last several months and just love it cool10.gif

Have had seiko's (and the one you are looking at as well) and you would probably prefer the Glycine. You can find the LE for much better price than retail if you look around a bit.. yourock.gif

Oh I hear ya there and can so relate! And both of those are likely a rarity to find at a stupid low price new.

Did some googling and no good buy hits yet. So best of luck on finding that sweet price to buy one. ;)

Both great choices Christian!...the Marine Master is coveted by all who own it as being the ultimate Seikohand6.gif The Glycine is a beauty and can be found readily online....just a note that Glycine carries one line for Europe and another for the U.S.A....the U.S market gets a sapphire crystal and usually a decorated movement ...a bit higher quality and price...while the Europoean market gets mineral crystal and unfinished movements at a lower cost...this I learned from a local AD who has carried Glycine since 1920watch2.gif

yeah, but it's got a titanium case which will be waaaaay to light on the wrist...

The Glycine LE that I am after in particular was limited to 200 pieces worldwide, so no fear of lesser-quality edition here. It has gotten a bit difficult to get one at a decent price, though.
