How about Seiko SKX007, Orient Diver, or Tissot 1000?

As you may already know this but, you can get a Seiko diver for less than $200.

Island Watch sells Orient Diver for pretty cheap.

I don't know where you can get a tissot 1000 but they are around for less than 500.

Yea it would be a great gift. The Sector watches have a good popularity and a 7750 is the cream of the crop. ;)

Check out Hamilton. When my stepson graduated from SWCC school in the Navy I gave him a Hamilton Khaki Navy Frogman.
