Hey Tony... yep I have this one and its a nice light weight diver.  The only issue I have had with it has been the internal bezel crown not properly engaging the bezel gearing all the time, or sometimes not completely disengaging so that when you set the bezel and then screw the crown down, the bezel moves slightly.

Other than that, am very pleased with it - in fact, I may have to break it out this weekend for a little wrist time.  I got mine from a German AD - but paid alittle higher than I have seen it elsewhere.  BTW, it also comes in Paxman orange...:dude:

Steve your quip has piqued my interest!

I still find this a cool watch and hard to resist.

This is a different than VE but is the supplier of movements to VE, so is this movement the same as found in a VE?

Mark...  the Amfibia line is made by Vostok in Russia and has the Vostok, Calibre 2416B, 31ruby jewels movement in it.   Vostok-Europe watches (a joint venture between Koliz Vostok Ltd and a Lithuanian company, Vilnius LT) uses the Vostok movements in them.  I've so far been farirly impressed with the Russian movements - especially on some of the vintage pieces I have...  hand6.gif
