Pulled out the watch box today to put on the Sunday best and this old girl just sung to me. Seiko really got it right with the 6138-3002. 30 years old and still beating strong. This is a classic watch which is equal to any Swiss made one of the same era. Heck, it can still hold it's head up today.

Very cool Doc.... had not seen that one before - the dial layout reminds me a little of the Sinn 757, and has a very contemporary look for being 30 yrs old...  thanks for sharing.. hand6.gif

Its funny about those old Seiko chronos. They tend to get forgotten about then someone posts a couple of decent pics and people start to realise what a great watch they are and also hoe relatively cheap they are. They are like a bad case of jock itch. No matter what you do they just seem to keep coming back :-)

Not that I've ever had any experience of the galloping ball rot of course........face4.gif
