I'm looking for a dress watch. Came across EPOS during my search. Anyone have experience with this brand? They have some very expensive models but that doesn't always indicate quality. "Sub seconds at six o'clock, a heartbeat window at eight o'clock, Breguet hands, steel applied Roman numerals, all make for an elegant timepiece. This is 43mm in diameter, 10mm thick and 50mm tip to tip. A large steel, hand wind wristwatch with a sapphire crystal. It has a full display back, showing off the pearlage, the engraving, the blued screws and simple beauty of the ETA 6498. "

I've never seen one but have heard good feed back on them though. Suppose to be rather good watches for the money. ;)

I have heard good things as well. I love watches with Unitas movements and have been looking at them for a while. These two have been on my list for a while.

That is one great looking dress watch. I love the open heart feature, the dial, the hands and everything. How can you go wrong with a 6498 in there? Nice watch.

I have to agree with Mike. You just can't go wrong with the 6498 and that is a beautiful design. Of course the question remains; what is the price for such a piece?

I've seen several EPOS models in the $850 - 1100 range. They go all the way up to $14,000.00.

Hi all,

First time post to this section of the forum.  I'm a liitle late to this post but I wanted to chime in and mention that gntwatches periodically has sample sales (you must register via email to receive the mailing).  My wife bought me this watch last year at roughly 50% off the advertised list price.  It gets the most comments from friends and when I show them the back (exhibition back - decorated ETA 6497 movement) they are even more impressed.

Need I say I realy like this watch

Regards
