OK, so I've red the 3T thread on NF.....and NF seems to have a good deal on a 300m on SS with 3 or 4 rubber straps and pelican case....My question is are these good watches? I see Pax and Skip have them and CJ was getting one (in the thread) but how are they? Sorry for the questions but this is the only way I can learn without shelling out the $400 for the watch.happy1.gif

It's a good base line watch I would say. Not sure I would use it for diving. Maybe snorkeling and general beach and pool swimming. And the one I have dose at least have a Eta 2824 inside so a good engine. Not a bad price for a Swiss Eta watch with a few extra straps. I even got a X-large T-shirt out of the deal. :) ;)

Save your money imho and buy a watch from someone who can provide who the watch is actually made by...panatime has avoided all questions regarding this and it is questionable if the watches he now has even have an eta in them....just my 2 cents:)

If you buy now, you will most likely get a watch with a Sellita mov't...they have been less than totally honest about this (like Bathy's). Therefore, I have an ethics issue with them...additionally, as Oscar stated, Panatine has been less than forthcoming! Save up, spend more, get an ENZO! :)

Not one I'd write home about. I would put a value of maybe $300 to it with a Eta and classify it as a beach day beater. ;) I would not pay $400 for it again. If I could have seen it first I would not have bought it. :? Will someday flip it and at a very low price. But not right now. Collection building not crunching at the moment LOL :D Gregger wrote: O.A. I would pass on the current available line-up of NauticFish watches. The designs don't excite me and I really don't now about the quality. I have the original NauticFish 1000m I purchased a couple years ago direct from the German dealer Swissoria. This watch is in a different league than the currently available watches. I have heen very happy with it. Cool design and nicely machined parts. This is just my 02. :D![]()

I'll chime in and say its a good beater but why bother? Get a Seastar or something you can actually trace the roots of. Of course, you're just fishin, Gregger... If you read all the threads that have been posted on 3T you'll probably pass...

I've red the threads but I didn't see anything that said they stunk or get one....I like to call it probing....I'm going to make a purchase shortly and I'm looking for something different....one the excites me...not the same old same old....I'd love to get a Stowa but don't feel like spending that type of $$$$ now. I'm looking for a tool diver around $400....I'll keep looking....Thanks guys!!
