Like that hasn't been posted before!

Here goes... I prefer non mainstream watches, stuff you don't see all the time. IMHO, how many Seikos do you need, I have one. (Not meant to offend anyone.) Probably why I had a Super Kontiki, Certina DS3, wish the Mondia/Orsa and others came with a bracelet.

A few requirements:

1) BRACELET, I prefer one with fitted SEL.

2) 42mm min - 46/48mm max

3) Dial color other than black

4) 500m or 1000m

5) Hopefully below $2k, and "pre-owned" is fine

Anythoughts would be appreciated! And please post a pic if you can!

Try out the Orient 300m diver, it's one heck of a watch and comes with an orange dial. PM Marc from islwandwatch for a quote on the watch.

Stowa Seatime ProDiver also looks like your cup of tea:

Are you looking for a automatic, quartz or dose it matter?

Have you looked at these? http://www.victorinoxswissarmy.com/index.cfm?page=141&cnt_prm=ANY

Sounds like a job for Enzo

Or Ocean7

Or Doxa

Or Oris

I am sure many others can add to the list.

My suggestion would be an Ocean7, SeaAngler, or one of these.  I know where one of these is for sale if you are interested (not mine, a friends - well less than $2k)

Hey there Jeff,

I keep coming back to these...

One of the best bracelets in the biz (SEL on all the newer models), none is smaller than 42mm, they specialize in dials "other than black", 600.. 750.. or 1000m rated, and with the exception of the T-Graph you can't spend over $2K on one! (..on the "gently worn" secondary market).

Think of the design as timeless rather than retro.  Like Lays... hard to stop at only one!

Based on your criteria I would suggest two four letter words:

Doxa and Enzo!!
