I agree Oscar... this would be an issue for me as well.  Is the non-hacking true of all Orients?

Hmmm, 39mm bezel diameter and other proportions are kind of small in todays standards. Too small for my chunky kind of tastes. Too bad, it's a good looking watch. :(

Thanks for the info Kew. I like the watch but $220.00 for a watch that doesn't hack or wind is too expensive IMO.

I am running in the opposite direction lately, my Zeno Explorer at 35mm doesn't seem too small on my 7.5" wrist, my favorite size is 38-40mm.

I want one, who has them?!!!!?

Cheers,
Griff

Hi,

Got mine from http://www.higuchi-inc.com

I paid US$246-00 shipped back in June 2007.

I am pretty sure they are only available out of Japan.  :)

I think the price you have been quoted is reasonable especially with shipping.

You could also try http://www.seiyajapan.com/

http://www.watches88.com has the identical diver for US$1250-00 although it is an Orient (not an Orient Star).  Here is the link;

http://www.watches88.com/pd_orient_automatic_professional_diver_300m_power_reserve_cfd04001b.cfm

I think IslandWatch can probably get one of those in
