Hey 3Ters

I was trawling thru websites, looking for information on the Camy RallyKing (on the bay at present), when I happened on this site:

http://www.heuerboy.com/otherwatches

There are some old favourites, but there are also a few brands which are new to me - and I thought you all might like to check 'em out. Prices are a bit over the top, I don't know the seller, but ya can't argue with the unusual and interesting stock.

Pardon me whilst I clean up my drool...

Enjoy!

IanM

Here's another guy. He is a little pricey, but has some nice time pieces.

Hi Chick

I had a look through that site you recommended.

I like to call their prices "predictive". What I mean by that is that they seem to want to charge today what they predict that collectors will pay in 10 years time!!!

But there are some ver7y nice and rare pieces there, too, so thanks hand6.gif for the heads up!

Funny how no matter how many watches you see, there are always more that you didn't notice at the time.

Before the quartz revolution there must have been hundreds of watch manufacturers. Unless you were in the business at the time, how would you know?

I guess the internet isn't that bad.

Hey Skip - you're right.

For me, it helps to see what certain watches would have looked like in close to NOS condition. And it does seem as if there were many more manufacturers in the 60s and 70s than today.

Shop-on!

Now where is that search engine so that I can put in "Enicar Sherpa Graph"..... and look up "Yema".....    ......... and Hamilton Fountainebleau ...............  and Meister-Anker... and ............ ThumbsUp02.gif

Cheers - IanM

Canadajo, I agree.

Some of the colourful watches, like the Doxa T-Graph are a bit lustworthy, aren't they. I like that Enicar Sherpa, and have not seen one in that condition before - I guess it justifies his optimistic pricing.

Saw this Tissot on the bay this morning - do any of you guys like to fix watches as well?? This might be an attractive but colourful cheapie, but it needs work and a decent band/strap. And the seller doesn't know the difference between Shipping worldwide, and "No International Shipping". D'oh!

Have a look at: http://cgi.ebay.com/TISSOT-SEASTAR-Mens-Wrist-Watch-Swiss-Made_W0QQitemZ190152374168QQihZ009QQcategoryZ31387QQtcZphotoQQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Cheers all - IanM
