The original 40mm case or the First productions of Dragons were good quality.  Both of which contain original ETA G10 movements.  I personally like the Dragons better but it is of little consequence, due to the fact that they have not sold them for years.  The productions of past years have Swiss parts movements assembled in China.

The group of companies of which Invicta is a part made watches that were utilitarian in nature, affordable, and quality at there price range, less than $20 or so.  It turned or got turned into a fashion brand, when it could have become a real watch company that made quality watches.  When it came to the fork, the glitz and glam won over and everyone that had real talent left and let the shallow non-creative influences take over.  Not having any real talent they became captive to the situation and like most human waist they continue to amaze one and all with there utter stupidity.

Lupah is Latin and stands for magnification.

Thanks avery, much appreciated

My wife and I were talking last night, well alot lately about this kind of same thing happening over and over in all industries, It seems like the lowest common denominator seems to be winning in america with looks over quality.

+3  I have a few great Invicta watches (2014, 2014, and Black & Lume dial Mitilary).....I also have a Lupah!!!:P  My problem with Invicta, in addition to absolutely no quality control and even less customer service, is the seemingly pathological liar that heads the company.  The Invicta warranty is not worth the paper it is written on!  My 8926, which I gave to my brother, is also an excellent watch for the $...

I think what everyone forgets is that when we were buying Invictas 3-7 years ago we were using a $50. off coupon on all of them and waiting till they dropped in price to $99.95.....so for $49.95 a watch they were a deal:D

This Lupah is a Swiss Made COSC Dragon Lupah With a V7750 finished by ETA.

Very happy with it and it stays well within COSC standards.

That is funny because I thought that ETA COSC 7750 was furnished and decorated by Selita Watch Co.

I do believe that is correct. At least with most of the ones I know of. ;)

You are correct in most cases however with this model ETA did do the finish work to the movement and rotor. This is one of two models from Invicta that Eta did do the finish work to the movement. I believe the other was the Sapphire Ghost. But please don't quote me on that.

This review was done by Jim.  ETA does not plate rose gold on any movement ever in the history of ETA.  They do not have a price or the equipment or the desire to do it.

I know what I am talking about and this is my last statement on the issue.

Jim needs to go back to selling smokes.

I'm sorry AM but I believe eta/valjoux only did the work on the 18K version of the Lupah with the blue rotor back in 2003/2004 as well as the 1st generation Sapphire Ghost and that may well be doubtable :D ...unlike the model you have and that is shown in the review done by a paid lacky with no watch knowledge.;) I wouldn't doubt Avery about anything when it comes to Invicta hand6.gif Selitta was a decorating house for ETA and made movements to order for them using their ebauches as well as Soprod watch2.gifYou will find most of here at 3T were on board with Invicta back in 2000 when they were 1st introduced by Tim Temple and over the past few years most of us have moved on due to their terrible QC/CS and mass production of Chinese pieces parts used by every low end made for TV watch manufacturer in the business mistake.gif

ETA has the equipment to do one type of plating process and Rose Gold alloy is not compatible, it can only be electroplated.

I am not picking on you but someone has sold you some wrong information.

All I can say is keep coming back, and have a good day.
