Was curious what your opinions are on Ticino watches,

MOVEMENT FEATURES

Movement: 6497 17-Jewel Hand Wind Adjustable Swan's Neck Regulator

Same movement as found in Panerai's OPXI. This movement has higher beat rate than the standard 6497 which allows for better accuracy. 16½ lignes, 17 jewels, Glucydur® balance with Nivarox® I spring. 18,800 alternations/hour. Incabloc® anti-shock device. Also has offset second hand at 9 o'clock.

Power reserve 49 hours.

Blue screws and Cotes De Geneve.

Not familiar with them, although I have seen them popping up on the bay.  The photo shown above though doesnt match the description - there is no offset second hand at 9 oclock...  :shock:

I think Ticino translates in English to "Cheap Chinese Copy".

I saw that watch on Ebay. I am a sucker for the California dial, but it's way too much of a Panerai copy.

I live close to Beach and Warner. I grew up in El Toro, but my wife went to Fountain Valley HS. She remembers the Porshe dealer downtown.
