This is the 1st time in a great deal of years buying online that a Slop purchase arrived from FeDeX that the watch was missing from inside it's box:X I arrived home this morning and I had 3 deliverys 2 from slop 1 from SAH and upon opening the bag that sheltered the Slop watches from the weather containing 2 OTV Invictas I noticed that one of the boxes had been opened from the bottom and retaped with clear packaging tape! After opening it the Invicta box was intact but all contents were missing including all paperwork and warranty papers. The other watch was intact.I called Slop and informed them of the theft and they informed me that paperwork will be sent that needs to be filled out before any refund is made available.

With the holidays nearing I would alert all WIS recieving packages from any vendor to check the boxes immediately for tampering and notify the vendor asap! Whenever possible be there to recieve your packages so that any indication of tampering can be shown to the carrier before accepting and opening!hand6.gif

Man that sucks! Sorry that had to happen to you! I hope ShopNBC and/or FedEx will step up and make this right. Seems like a lot of this went on about 8 months ago and some people had a hard time getting it resolved. My fingers are crossed for ya!

Depending on how closely shopnbc inspected that watch it could have been stolen anywhere. Including a customer. In my retail days, I've had people return items with bricks in the box, rubber door stoppers, sand, and all kinds of stuff. So, the watch could have been taken out, returned, never checked and sent out again. It can happen.

Thankfully I have never run into this. Sorry to hear of your troubles, O, and I hope Slop doesn't delay too much in making it right.

At the risk of being naive, what it the general opinion on how this occurs? Is it marginal human beings working for shipping companies or an inside job?

Ty guy's! I only wanted to report this so everyone would look out!hand6.gif As far as the Invicta OTV it's no big loss as I cancelled the order of the one stolen and the other is going back...I knew I wouldn't care for the Mother of Plastic....I am finally over the entire Invicta draw....after watcing Eyal and Jimmy Sniffles for 15 min. last weekend I remembered why I stopped buying them!subtlelaugh.gif
