I was hoping they would make a Caribean Blue 1000Tparty.gif

When most of us think about DOXA – we think orange! And while orange is the new black, there apparently is more than one color out there!

Over the past few years, DOXA has been paying close attention to what our customers and forum members have been saying – that’s right – you guys! One of the results of this was the introduction of the first 750T ever – the DOXA SUB750T Caribbean. This has been perhaps the most sought-after DOXA in the Re-edition series. It was sold out in record time! We then launched the SUB750T GMT Caribbean – and it too quickly sold out.

We keep hearing you asking when the next Caribbean is coming…well it’s here!

THE DOXA SUB1000T CARIBBEAN HAS SURFACED!

Back by popular demand! The SUB 1000T Caribbean now joins the Professional, the Sharkhunter and the Divingstar in the DOXA SUB fleet.

The Caribbean shares the same “standard equipment” as the other 1000Ts – Swiss made, self-winding movement, water-resistant to 1000 meters, and perhaps the finest bracelet that DOXA has ever produced. the 60s, a bright blue dial, and our “old school” superluminova for the markers and hands.

A new interpretation on a cult favorite -

A solid 120-tooth stainless steel bezel, solid piece end links, and a thicker, more substantial bracelet have all been added as well. A 100% Swiss-made self-winding movement is the engine driving the SUB 1000T Caribbean, and just like the original, it comes with DOXA’S patented no-decompression dive table bezel. ( US Patent N. 3505808).

$1,590.00 for returning customers

Wish they made it in the 750T size with the orange minute hand!  But glad to see a new DOXA model nonetheless.  There was a bruhaha on the official forum about the delay in announcement (someone saw it at a retailer first, and this was how the forum found out), but I still look forward to any new DOXA model.

Looks good but I also would like to see a little orange on the second hand.

Although I appreciate the brand's history and following, I've never been able to warm up to the Doxa design.  While I like the blue face and always appreciate unique styling, they just don't do it for me.

I to would of preferred an orange minute hand as well. IMHO I feel the Caribbean 750 is the most beautiful Doxa besides the orange dial. That orange minute hand would of made a world of difference here. The 1000T design seems just too plain. I was eagerly awaiting the release of the 1000T Caribbean and waiting to buy. I was let down when I saw the product. Guess I will continue to look for a 750T Caribbean.

As a Doxaholic, I miss the orange minute hand.  This one looks unfiished to me.  It will still sell well.
