Which Sub clone is the best?

I'm pretty sure that among all of us we have handled most, if not all, of the many watches on the market that fit this description.

Whice one is the absolute best alternative?

I've never seen this type of post solving anything:P but they do generate...usually many interesting responses.

My vote goes to the Invicta 8926....pound for pound, dollar for dollar the best one I have seen.

Gotta' have Swiss guts??? Sandoz fits the billhand6.gif

Gotta agree with Tony on this one....the 8926/9937 were impressive and that's why we all jumped on the Invicta wagon back in 2000...hard to beat in that lower price rangehand6.gif....but if you really want close to a 40mm submariner at less as well ,but more $ than the Invictas.....go with the MarcelloC Nettuno3...fit, finish, and movement are impecable imho and I told Marc as nice as my Subyourock.gif I have not seen the Robert,or Steinhart versions but heae they are pretty nice as wellwatch2.gif

Of course the thread title was tongue in cheek, nothing ever gets "settled".

I personally like the Singapore Sandoz....I just wish it had a solid end link bracelet.

I also wish I owned one mistake.gif

Sandoz Singapore for "clone"

Marcello C Nettuno 3 for "similar kind of thing"

Probably the Marcello C Tridente, as I prefer a slightly larger size.

I have to go with the Marcello C Nettuno as well. Probably the nicest quality Sub "style" watch I have owned. Probably the nicest Oyster bracelet I have yet to handle.
