A womans watch that is great for the buy ($400.00, or less).  Christmas will be here soon, this is my first Christmas with you guys (man that sounds kind of funny) I thought I would get a jump on the issue.  So which womans watch is it.  Also here are some things to think about.

a. Great looking watch

b. Well made (structure)

c. What type of movement

d. What type of band does it come with

e. what color is it (dial & hands, band, etc)

Alright I need ideas.  Please no INVICTAS, because she already has two.  Also remember, it has to be girly girly, no divers please.  You know she will not care what movement it is, but she does like a Sapphire crystal though

Steve I like that coin edge bezel.  Also the waves on the dial, is that sapphire front and back.  Steve how big is the case.  That watch looks classy

I think its 35mm and yes should be front and back sapphire, but would have to check to be sure.

My experience with buying your lady or even daughter a watch has been that unless they know watches a designer label brings the biggest smiles!  I have purchased many watches for my daughter and women in my life and I recently bought them a Coach, and a Roberto Cavalli ....I never saw the look of complete Joy until then.....nothing like a designer label is what I say...and if it has some gems, even better!

Last Christmas I got my wife a Maurice Lacroix Intuition.  I got her the 'Miss Universe' edition with the diamonds for not much more than your limit.  It's a quartz but has Sapphire Crystal and it's very definately girly (very much a piece of jewellery).  E-bay is full of the non-diamond version as well.

Picture taken from e-bay.

O makes a good point. It should be a big name or at least one they know their friends will recognize. It should also look more expensive than it is.  Key points when buying for any woman.

Ya Upside, Oscar and Stephen you are wright.  Man you guys nailed this issue. because I bought her a womans Diver Invicta 1/2 carrot blue mother of pearl last christmas she loves that thing.  Also she has a baby lupah, I have to say big O you hit the nail wright on the head (you should have seen the look on her face last Christmas, bling, bling).  Steve that Oris man bro that looks sweet.  See she knows all about Oris I had the Regulator, she liked it, so I'm going to show her the one you post.  Also Upside I will show her the Tissot, this will probably be the one she likes.

Given your budget and taking into account all of the previous posts, I would suggest you look at Movado. Go to Overstock.com right now and save an extra 10% off the prices. You can't really go wrong with any lady Movado for being classy. You can go with a colored strap or a bracelet. All three shown here are under $500 on sale at Overstock.com. They have many other choices too. You can go as girly, girl as you want. Or, be conservative. Movado has it covered. :D
