Hey guys, long time reader, first time poster.

I'm looking for a good black dial automatic, around $100 - $225. But I can't decide. So far I'm liking these two below from LongIslandWatch. Will happily take any other suggestions!

a) Orient Black Automatic Dive Watch #CEM65001B - Classic, nice size.

b) Seiko Black 5 Sports Automatic Dive Watch (Japan Model) #SNZD17J1 - Like the style, afraid case might look a little small.

Both are good watches in the $100. range although I prefer the Orient Mako over the Seiko5 hand6.gif....for a little more $150.-$175 I would recommend the Seiko Black Monster a must for any collector imho yourock.gif

Of the two, I would go for the Orient as well.  Size wise the Seiko is 40mm and the Orient 41mm - so should be pretty close.  But I agree with Oscar, for a few denaros more, get a Monster...hand6.gif

and welcome aboard 3T btw... ;)

Happy to see you posting. I have the Orient and highly  recommend it. For the same money, I would rate it a notch above the Seiko 5.

Thanks for your input guys! I was going to consider the Black Monster, but I already have the Orange Monster incoming.

I like the Mako better too. I've got the blue and it is very solid.

And I like your style... orange monster is the way to go!!
