Some folks may change the order. I just like the black  better. Enhances the look of the dial to me. Depends on the dial if I like a SS or colored bezel.

It was a tough decision between the two.  They both look great.  I think I have the steel bezel look covered with my LM1 and my incoming Laco Diver, though! :)

So is the Stainless bezel not solid with engraved numbers...  I thought it was and the black one was the insert?

You had it right to begin with - the silver one is engraved, and the black one is an insert.

Man, I'm itching for this one. (I think they make some cream for that) subtlelaugh.gif

Good to hear the SS bezel will be solid, I have it ordered with the SS bezel. I'm also glad Poul will be offering both bezels later on as an accessory. I'll probably purchase the black insert bezel too to to swap out for a different look from time to time.

Well I got an email from Poul last night saying that he has NOT confirmed the bezel thing yet... and will email me the answer as soon as Fricker confirms it..  He thinks that it is of course a SS with engraving... but cannot confirm yet.

This was 11:38pm last night 3/4/2008 from Poul.

Hi Britt,

I am still waiting for confirmation from Fricker regarding the bezel. I should know shortly. I will keep you updated.

I do apologize for the inconvenience.

 Best regards,

 Poul Brix Poulsen

I would imagine the related thread on their official forum at WUS would be the place to look for the latest updates on this topic.

all updates have and will be reported on 3T as there are many of us who have ordered.hand6.gif at last report I felt the bezels both black and silver would be inlays as 1st pictured....I will check with Poul who has been very kind and a true gentleman in supplying updated info to 3T....by the size of this thread I would believe interest in the Korsbek line of watches will be very popular here on 3Tyourock.gif

Well ... If you read on his official forum in his post so far... he says

"I talked to my contact at Fricker today (which was yesterday) regarding the bezel. He was almost 100% sure that the bezel is engraved and not an insert. He will be in his office tomorrow and he will then now for sure.

So it looks like it will be a stainless steel with black indices (engraved). I will keep you posted tomorrow."

In my email to him last night.. he could not confirm either way on the bezel...I was simply providing the most current information...  I suspect that it is indeed a SS bezel... but at this point that cannot be verified by Poul..  Hopefully we will know the answer soon...  Personally if it is an insert, it looses some of its lure to me..

Just saw a post at WUS from Poul and it is looking like these might be in for shipping the end of May. Let's keep our fingers crossed. If I have to I'll go down to Seattle to get mine. hehehehe :D
