I remember having read somewhere that the 2005 GSARs had some issues. I don't remember where I read it, or what those issues might have been. Does anyone here know anything about this?

I think I read something about the bezel. I believe it was upgraded on the 2006 contract.

Now that I hear you say that; maybe I did hear something to that effect. I appreciate it. I've over at MWR reseaeching this rather extensively and haven't even found mention of that. I'm having a possible accuracy issue and just wanted to make sure it wasn't something endemic to the 2005s.

I researched them quite a bit recently before I bought mine and don't think there's a problem with the movement. I think a couple of people had problem with the lume triangle falling out of the bezel which was later corrected with a new 120 click bezel.

Yep. That is the one issue that I found reported consistently. How does the 120 click bezel make a difference in the whether or not the lume triangle falls out?

Oh, it doesn't, I believe it just change to that when they corrected the triangle problem.
