Thanks, Teddy. That's actually my 2nd Citizen. My first one was about 39/40 years ago I received as a present from my folkssubtlelaugh.gif.

I will post my amateur review in a bit so that your great newly-arrived Orient will get good exposure in the forum. I think your Orient is a great watch with a strong track record.hand6.gif

Nice one, Tom. I was holding one exactly like this in my hands at the store yesterday but the Citizen Promaster had cast its spell and I succumbed. The Land Shark is a hefty one, amigo!

Tom I looked at these real hard about 2 weeks ago, but I was looking at the white dial.  I still have it at the top of my list.

Excellent, BA1970hand6.gif Too bad they don't make this anymore. Just wanted t share with you that my dad bought his pepsi in 1995 before I was even born and just before he got married. He never had it serviced until 1995 or 1996....and only upon my prodding. All it needed was a replacement bezel and the usual maintenance work. In all those 40 years, the timepiece kept perfect time. Wear your pepsi in good health;).
