LumiNox 3081 B.O. today. Will however change the rubber for a NATO, (maybe Bond version?).

I don't know about that new Omega Oscar, quartz/auto auto/quartz sounds a lot like fear of commitment to me! Well it's sharp looking anyway! ThumbsUp02.gif

Black Orient for me today!

Congrats on the new arrival Oscar!

First time I've seen this Omega...great looking combo with that unique dial color IMO!thumbsup.gif

So what's the Hybrid auto/quartz thing about???  Is this just a mechanical rotor that charges a capacitor that in turn powers the quartz movement???  (Sort of like the Seiko kinetic???).

TY Chris & Chris!...the Omegamatic had 2 versions as you will read in the link below, mine is made after 1996 and has a rechargeable battery powered by the rotor based on a eta 205.911,Omega Cal.1400.I have been wanting one for a few years and finally pulled the trigger on a near NOS at a great price imho from a FB friend. At 36mm it still wears fairly well and I have put it on a Omega rubber since the pic above, the bracelet just fit me,but a bit tight,so the seller is looking where he may have placed the extra links as they were not in the box,it was this dial that I really wanted and does not come up often as the black dial version.ThumbsUp02.gif
