After drooling over Phil and Oscar's 2011s...finally grabbed one!
Vintage VDB 2011 today.
Wohoo, big congrats on your new VDB my friend !
What you say?
Is it a stunning watch !?
Enjoy this piece Chris !

Thanks Phil!
Stunning indeed!!!! Yes, I'm lovin' it...an extremely cool, uniquely designed, and well built piece!!!

Especially I like the bezel-case Kombination. Really massive. Like the industrial design.
Let's see how the movement is running in the future.
Agreed Phil!
Like you, love the case/bezel combination (cool matte anthracite dial too), and despite the 2011 having some nice thickness, it's really comfortable on the wrist given the tidy 52mm lug-to-lug length IMO.
(Mine is running -3 to -4 seconds/day out of the gate)
Right Chris,
really comfortable on the wrist !
I prefer the VDB rubber on that one. It is very comfortable and matches the watch better than the leather strap.
-3 to -4 seconds, Good movement Chris !
Agreed! The VDB rubber is very comfortable (and tapers from 28/26 which is nice IMO). The stock 2011 strap is a straight 28mm. I also ordered a sweet Mays-Berlin strap from VDB, but it came without buckle (was planning originally to use the buckle from the stock strap, but didn't realize it was a sewn in version! Doh!)...so I have no 28mm buckles.
The Mays-Berlin I ordered looks like a tasty combo with this one (would look sweet on the 2013 too), but I need a 28mm buckle!
Oh yes, and very happy with the -3 to -4 seconds on a Vintage Movement!
