@Chris.....Yes, amigo. I heard about the release of a new SD but paid little attention to it because I never thought Rolex would re-intro a discontinued model. It is indeed another beauty from the House of the Crown. What I noticed though on the new release is that the pip is positioned higher than the usual pip location on the old SD as well as on the last release of the 14060M. I compared the new SD's pip location to my SubC and SubC ND and guess what....the pips of all these new models are higher than the usual alu bezels. Look at the pip of the 14060M shown below. Notice how small a space there is below it in the triangle? Maybe Rolex is doing this (higher pip) to align all production of bezels and pips of the ceramic lines. 14060M for Thursday ![]() Last edited on Thu Mar 27th, 2014 01:11 am by bigrustypig |

@Jeff...agree with you regarding the pips...and also surprised that Rolex would re-introduce a discontinued model with the SD. In addition to the ceramic bezel, it does look as if the lugs have been widened slightly versus the discontinued SD?...but I'm not 100% sure... SD for me today. ![]()
