it is a departure from my usual purely mechanical preferences, but I couldn't resist.

This one is from the first line of completely analog G-Shocks. Solar power, Atomic sync, Chrono, Dual time, Alarm. And all of it shock and water resistant to G-shock standards.

That's pretty cool. I didn't know they were making analog versions. Good score man.

    Hi! MadBrdr

I have a questions, since you have the Giez. I have the exactly same one. I was wondering do you have any problem receiving the atomic clock signal? I've tried many times to get it to sync and every time I check on it, it always say no. Can you help me out? I'm located in Bklyn. Thanks!

I am in Brooklyn as well and on occasion I did have trouble syncing. Unfortunately we are on the very edge of the effective radius of the Colorado transmitter. Make sure the chrono or dual time function is not active and place the watch next to the window facing aproximately west.

    Good luck

Thanks for the reply back. I just wanted to make sure, because I was afraid I might have been ripped off. And there's just no way to go back and get an exchange, at least not anytime soon.

This one retail for close to $300. I got mine for about $170 or so. Anywho!

Still need to get use to using analog, been using digital watches for too long!

    Peace!
