Just won this at auction and am awaiting its arrival.  Another forum member

has one and it is a really neat looking watch.  It is supposedly a LE with the real Swiss 2824eta and I cannot find much info on it.

I am hoping that someone out there knows more info on this watch as in history, how many were made, and what it was representing.

When it arrives will post pictures.

Sure thing, I think.  On the WUS forum he goes by the name Yamhaki!  His pics are what got me interested in this model!  I hope mine come out as good!

Paul,

I believe that was introduced about 3-4 years ago as the top model in their S1 collection. That model was supposed to have styling cues from their S1 race care as you will find the strap has a chrome insert which I believe was somewhere on the car. It came in 2 movement colors..the gold you bought and a black IP if I'm not mistaken. Not sure of the production run, but less than 500 of each if I recall.

Nice watch with a modified movement........the big knock....besides being Invicta:D JK, was its legibility. That pic looks pretty good and I hope time telling will be that easy for you when it arrives.

Best I can offer:)

The seller is a "down fall"?  Please explain.  As to the straps, I will see when i get it and maybe it will need a custom band but as long as the strap is in good condition, as it was said to be, it will ast me a long time, and it looks cool with those little shields!
