The Stowa 80th Anniversary Marine Original LE #5 of 80 landed and it was well worth the wait....well worth imho! yourock.gif....from the crisp stark white enamel dial to the decorated Unitas 6498 it is a masterpiece imhohand6.gif....41.50 mm by 12mm with a sweet AR coated sapphire crystal frt/bk,white enamel dial done in the Old World German style with red 12 and furnace blued hands is incredible and a true testament to Jorge Schauer/Stowa who numbered the dials in red at the bottom by hand to celebrate the 80th Anniversarywatch2.gifThe case is satin finished has a signed crown and a thick handstitched J.Schauer signed leather strap...the chronometer grade fully decorated Unitas 6498 has the screwed glucydor balance wheel with swan neck regulator and furnace blued screws...Guillochet and engine turned decoration throughout make the movemnet a true work of art but it is the dial that really rocks this watch....porcellan in appearance as are the Arabics and indices and the sunken seconds at the six give the dial a nice depth which looks like it was hand poured ! Simply elegant can only describe this timeless beauty!

Ty Steve...Like I said the dial is what really sets the watch off....everything else just plays off the laquer coated enamelwatch2.gif

Great looking watch O!  Simple, crisp, clear.  I like how the red 12 sets it apart
