I decided to pull the trigger on a Junkers from Marc over at LongIslandWatch. It's the JU-52 Iron Annie he had listed here. I spoke to him over a week ago expressing my interest, but before I could completely seal the deal, a sandstorm knocked out our internet. I want to thank him publicly for putting it on hold until our internet was up and running again(yesterday). I also want to thank him for the 'Thank You for serving in the military' discount. I can remember a time earlier in my career when not many people/business's would give out something like that. I will definately do business with him again in the future. Thank You Marc. Did I mention I have a new watch inboun:D?

Congrat on the Junkers. Some great watches and that is a very good movement in that baby.

And yes Marc is a great man to deal with and a good friend too.

And from a Navy Vet thanks for all you do and stay safe. ;) Freedom is not Free!

Finally found it.  Here is a link you might find interesting on the JU-52.

Great watch. And of course it is always great to work with Marc. I was wondering why that thing was on "hold". Enjoy it!

That's a lot of good recommendations on a watch. I'm hoping I like it as much as you guy's do yours. I looked at it a couple of times before deciding to pull the trigger and every time I looked at it I kept thinking that there was just something about it that was catching my eye. The price was right, so I said 'what the hell, why not.'. This'll be the first inbound since I bought my Sinn 256 the first week in Feb. I won't get to see either in person until I get home for leave in June. It's also my first handcranker since I was a kid and my first white dial.

I've got the F38 flight record hand wind with the same movement and really like it a lot.  About 42 hours power reserve on full wind and really nicely decorated. Enjoy your new Junkers
