Well, this is my first Invicta.  I really like the looks of it and have been wanting a mech. chrono. It is definitley a big, heavy watch.  This is going to be a trial for Invicta for me after all the stuff I have been hearing here.  If I have trouble I may not buy another.  So, hopefully it was made on a wednesday cause I really like the looks of it.  Wish me luck.

Looks great!.  I really like the look of that one too!  I had an Invicta (Ocean Ghost) for a while, loved it and had absolutely no problems.  The only reason it was sold was for "watch box restructuring".  I have seen that some people have had some problems with them but luckily (knock on wood) none were had here and I would consider another Invicta.  I wish you luck!  :D   BTW doesn't Invicta mean "unbreakable" or something like that?

Pax, I am not up on them either.  All I know is they call it a Technica. It says it is a swiss mechanical chronograph in the description.  heres the link.

More of the Ocean Ghost series of watches. Great looking movement but it is a Seagull movement I believe so the swiss thing is another Invicta myth..........great movement though, I hope it treats you well

I really like that oneThumbsup3.gif

That's funny Tony because I just went and had a look and thought the same thing. Looks like a Seagull to me. Now has Invicta started cloning Seagulls in Switzerland?? This is the kind of misrepresentation that is unacceptable!!

Now my question is...I have read some reviews on this watch they have all been good but someone had made a comment that no where on the watch does it say swiss made or swiss movement.  the discription says its a swiss movement.

I just looked it over and it does not say swiss anywhere.  I think you guys scared me into adding the 4 year warranty.  I even got a "special" phone # for service since I bought it from nbc .Well I am going to keep it and let the chips fall where they may.  If I have no trouble maybe I will get another.
