Thumbsup3.gifI was thinking the exact same thing!! subtlelaugh.gif

I really like the Tungsten case but the dial and hands are really.... lacking...class...
A seamaster dial would fit in it but I don't want to do that to a seamaster dial...

I am thinking a glossy black chapter ring, Tungsten colored Yacht master style dial (rough glittery texture) and simple classic black glossy round markers with real 50/50 c1/c3 superlume and black plongeur hands.

Add an applied logo  call it "Gresham GMT-1"
Next I would remove the Invicta engraved rotor and replace it
with a Plain ETA Rotor. With the words "Gresham Watch Company."Bouncy.gif
engraved on the new rotor.

I do have a nice fully decorated 2824 that I had thought about putting in it and I have a Grey anodized invicta rotor that would make a better color match to the Tungsten tide watch.. though I suppose I could use the regular decorated rotor too...

I've never owned an Invicta, therefore I don't know
what the quality is like. From what I have read so far in this forum,
it has made me think twice about buying one.

I think most people here would agree that the classic miyota powered diver is a safe bet and a fun watch to wear!

Chris, is that an all Tungsten case?  It must be damn heavy if it is!  We use solid Tungsten weights in our Cub Scout Pinewood Derby cars because it is much more dense than lead.

Cheers,
Griff

BTW, I like the mod!  How did you get the logo off without damaging the dial?  I would have assumed Invicta stuck it on there with Super Glue :D
