Been awhile for an incoming for me, had big itch which Marc at IW was more than happy to scratch...so to speak...  MarcelloC Scala...  Swiss Made automatic (self-winding) aviator watch with:
  • ETA 2824-2 movement,
  • date window,
  • sporty black dial,
  • Superluminova treated hands and numerals,
  • inner bi-directional rotating bezel via crown at 9:00 position
  • sapphire crystal front with AR coating and a mineral crystal back.
  • Solid 316L stainless steel, brushed & polished, 48mm diameter, 13.8mm thick.
  • Genuine leather strap, 24mm, polished steel signed butterfly deployant clasp.
  • 100 Meters water resistant

Great watch Steve,  I so wresteled myself with that watch on marcs site, I saw the great bargain he had and went back and forth.

You know Steve I've eye balled this style a few times. This watch style is in good company. Zeno and Vixa have one too. On my list but has been back burnered a few times now. Besides your pics I can't wait to hear your thoughts on it too. ;)

I've been eyeballing this one for some time. It's nearly identical.

As for me being "back on the horse" I just ordered up a couple of new saddles. Hopefully new straps will make my old nags ride like young steeds.

Congratulations on a fine addition. I like the way the crowns are sculpturally snugged into the protector lugs.
