I rarely post a new watch but I've fallen in love with this beauty and haven't seen anyone else on 3T mention the brand. The latest Insync Magazine has an article on
the new Reactor brand. Fit and finish is excellent. This is a substantial watch that wears comfortably on the wrist. Ships with two extra links and pins in a nice metal case. The lume on this watch is incredible as advertised. Stronger then the lume on any of my Seikos or Fortis.

Specifications:

Brushed Finished Case and Bracelet with Polished Accents
Silver/White Sunburst Dial with Day and Date at the 3 o'clock position
Unidirectional Rotating Bezel
Solid, Forged 316L Stainless Steel Case and Caseback; Extra hard, marine-grade stainless steel permits fine finishing and resists corosion. Caseback is made to provide a superior fit, increased strength and water resistance.
Solid Screwbar to Case Attachment; This system is nearly 8 times stronger than the typical springbars typically used in watch construction. With this system you won't have to worry about losing your watch due to the band detatching from the case.
Extra Thick Hardened Mineral Glass Lens; This K1-Hardened Mineral Crystal combines exceptional scratch resistance with unmatched shatter resistance.
Triple O-Ring Screw Down Crown System; Extremely water resistant Triple O-Ring system not only provides extra protection when the crown is screwed in, but also provides protection to 100 Meters (330 Feet) if you happen to forget to screw the crown back in after setting your watch before getting in the water!
Superluminova on Hands and Markers; The Swiss made Superluminova goes through a special application process to make these watches extremely visible when in a low lit area and will provide exceptional visibility for up to 8 Hours.
Shock Resistant Movement Holder; A special casing helps to protect the already Shock Resistant Japanese Quartz Movement from severe impacts.
Square Profile Caseback Seal; Having more surface area than the typical O-Ring seal, this provides a significantly superior water-tight seal.
Over-Sized Screw Down Crown; Large size makes it easy to grip, un-screw and set the date and time with ease
Double Push Button Fold Over Safety Clasp; Folding, adjustable clasp snaps into place setting the push button release which holds it place; then has a safety clasp which folds over on to the clasp securing the band on your wrist.
Comes encapsulated in a protective standing metal case and is revealed by rotating the outer case half.
The watch comes with the bracelet average-sized (most watches come with the bracelet sized larger) and includes two extra links (in case you need the bracelet sized larger) packaged with the watch behind a magnetic closure in the bottom of the watch case along with the instruction and warranty booklet.
10 Year Lithium Power Supply
Water Resistant to 300 Meters (990 Feet) with the Crown Screwed In
45.5mm Case Width (Approximately 1 3/4") not including the crown
13.8mm Case Thickness (Approximately 1/2")
Weight: 200 Grams

I particularly like the texture on the links and bezel.

The lume is unlike anything I've ever seen on a watch. You can actually use it like a flashlight for those late night trips to the restroom. :)

Very nice looking watch for $350.00  I would like it even more if it were a swiss automatic..but it does come with a 10 year lithium rated battery.  Nice pics!!  I like the red dial version also.

Not a bad pickup at all. And no you don't see many Reactors foating around. Nice lume and a 10 year battery I could possibly go for one of those. Big congrats. ;)

The Reactor cases are really stout, and the lume is just as you described.  I have yet to see a watch that torches as bright or as long.  But then again, I've never had an Orientstar diver. :)

I have the Neutron, which I really want to love, but there are just some weird things about it.  For example, the bezel has 90 clicks.  The crystal extends about 1mm above the bezel too, exposing enough of the edge that I imagine it'd be easy to chip.

But given all that, the lug design lets it sit really nicely on the wrist for such a big watch, and the silicone strap is super soft and has a really clever keeper design.

I also have the Fallout, which would be great except that the second hand is loose, so it's got about a full second of slop.  And several of the lumed markers don't actually line up with the rest of the dial.  Sloppy.  I'm sending it back.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy yours.  There's no doubt that they are hefty, tough, practical watches and make terrific daily beaters.
