I sent my green Monstrum to Kent Parks to get a lume upgrade and here are some pics of the result.  The good ones are Kent's and the bad ones are mine.

Here is before (right) and after (left)...

And here is a crappy shot of the new lume...

I'm very happy with how it turned out.  I wore it last night then set it on the nightstand but had to turn it around because the lume was keeping me awake.  subtlelaugh.gif  It really exceeded my expectations!  Kent is great to work with.  He had some really good ideas and does some nice work-  AND I got it back in about 3 weeks!  Nice!  yahoo.gif

When you get in from enjoying this great summer day, let me know what you guys think.  Have a good one!  -chris

Thanks guys!  My original goal was to keep as close to the original dial look as possible but amp up the lume.  I had an orange Steinhart triton lume idea in mind.  Then after talking to Kent and hearing his ideas, I decided to let him have at it and I couldn't be happier.  I wish I could take some better lume pics to do it justice!  mistake.gif

Very cool! The finished product looks great. My green Monstrum has gotten little wear and might benefit from a little "rehab"... I think you have inspired a couple of 3T-ers.

Beautiful.  That black around the indices really makes them pop.  Excellent job on the lume too.

Chunky, that mod looks great. I really like the look of the black outline, it gives more contrast to the layout and looks alot better IMO. I also like the blacked out base of the hour hand. Both details that I wish came from the factory. And of course the additional lume is Sweet! hand6.gif
