Although it's just a quartz, it has a beautiful enamel face modeled after the Frank Lloyd Wright Willits house in Chicago. A unisex watch; big enough for a man. I'll put it right next to the new snow shovel and chopper mitts she's getting from Santa. Jim ![]() Last edited on Sat Dec 24th, 2005 07:51 am by |

Not at all; thanks much! And yes, it's a very pretty watch, and since we're both fans of Wright's architecture and art, I know she'll love it! List is $135, but got it on eBay for much less. Jim Last edited on Sat Dec 24th, 2005 08:57 am by |

Yes, glass dial; enamel face. Not sure I understand your question about where the movement is. The hands are pretty small, but hopefull she'll be able to read it. Search on eBay under "willits watch" or "frank lloyd wright watch." Jim

Thanks! Yes, she loved it. Not only is the face beautiful, but the case is also so well done. We both love the art and architecture of FLW: his houses; his furniture, and the spaces he creates in his interiors. Seemingly, he was a master at everything. He designed fabrics, dinnerware, typefaces...and his stained glass is awesome. He was a grouchy old bastard, though, like many geniuses. Trouble is, I like the watch, too. It is long enough for a man to wear, but narrow. Jim
