Got this the other day as my wife decided she wanted my original Luminox clock for some upcoming trips. The original was a gem of a clock. I have had mine for many years and Luminox quit making them about 3-4 years ago. They actually made a couple of travel alarms. Even sold one under the Traser name.

After many customer requests (and people like me trying to find the old version) Luminox has finally put out another travel alarm. The obvious advantage is glow-in-the-dark over other travel alarms. This new model is only 60mm in size (barely big enough for Hucky's wrist) which put me off from buying it for some time (I thought it would be too small). It comes in silver or black.

It is small (tiny?) but I can read it just fine. I got the silver model and it is very light weight even with the leather travel case. So, it won't add much weight to your suitcase. Setting the time and alarm is easy than on the original. It uses a common quartz watch type battery whereas the original used a AA.

Price for this little marvel is more than double the price of my original clock. It lists for $195.00! My first one cost $79.95 several years ago. Fortunately I found it at a great price on the Internet or I wouldn't have gotten it.

It is cute and nicely made, but I would have to say the original model is still the best one if you can ever find it.

WOW! It's great to hear someone else here has this great clock. Yes, it is tombstone shape. I looked all over the Net for one. Didn't know they ever made it in stainless. They also made a fold over world clock style alarm.

Ditto that.
