Hi all. Q&Ds of my new JOA PVD, and I finally figured out how to take a lume shot!

Enjoy the eye candy and cheers - IanM

Specs - 44mm, handcranker ETA, sterile sandwich dial with C3, double AR, fat tubes on the screw-in lugs, subseconds at 9, presently on the 24/22 Bob presented to me by our wonderful friend JHM, and with a strapculture 22mm PVD pre-v buckle. It is presently +3 seconds after 6 days - pretty gopod for keeping very good time at +3 seconds for the first week!

thankyou.gif Skip. Didn't find any other PVD wathes I liked, so I decided to get someone to build me exactly what I had in mind. A coupla glitches along the way with this one, but I am happy with the eventual result.

Now I am wondering why it took me so long to go sterile dial and to my own design specs :D

I forgot to credit my very good WIS friend Jan for the Bob 24/22 strap in the photos, which I put on an SC PVD pre-v buckle. I hope Jan in particular likes the combo I picked out for this strap - he is such a gentleman and his gift is genuinely appreciated. Thanks, Jan!!

Thanks chunkmeister and Willie - glad you like it! The lume on this one makes photographing it quite easy - dunno what I was worried about... mistake.gif. Probably a fluke subtlelaugh.gif

It has been a "go to" watch for a week now. Today it is on a 24/24 relatively thin (2.5mm) black rubber strap with another PVD buckle that is just a tad too big for it - just trying 'em out to see what works best - but I really enjoy the combo in the pics.

Cheers and thanks for your kind comments men! IanM hand6.gif

That's pretty sweet looking Ianperfect.gif. I like it. But I'm a little lost here, JOA? Who's this?

Hi Murphy J - thanks for the kind comments.

JOA is the "brand" of Johel Orellanes. He is in the states and makes homages with and without branding on the dial. SS, PVD, various configs and movements.

Please PM me if you would like some contact details - happy to provide.

Cheers - IanM hand6.gif
