This was waiting for me, when I got home yesterday from work.  I want to thank Steve (srh_pres) and Oscar for pushing me to go after this.  Here's a brief review and pic's of the Korsbek Ocean Explorer.

Specifications:

44mm Diameter, but some have measured 45mm.

17.0mm Height, but some say 17.6 tall.

54.0mm Length overall, lug to lug.

24.0mm Lug width.

Case and Bezel are bead blasted.  Looks like fine glass was used on the application.

Crystal
--Sapphire, domed, 4mm, AR coated inside only

Movement
--Self-winding ETA 2824-2

Water Resistance
--1000 Meters, Anti-magnetic, Shock Resistant

Crown
--8mm, Screwed locked, signed

Bezel
--Uni-directional, black insert bezels (or solid ss bezels) with matte and anti-reflective silver numbers and markings

Lume
--C3 Superluminova on hands and dial. Lume on second-hand

Other Specifications:

-Matte Black Dial
-Screwed Bar Lugs
-Solid Link ss Bracelet with solid end-links, divers extension, and screwed removable links, signed
-Twin "O" ring seals in the case-back
-Helium Vent, opposite the Crown at 9 O'clock
-Engraving on Caseback of diver and ship wreckage
.

The original specs stated brush finish, but the OE is bead blasted.  I really like the crown and the crown guard, which is perfect size, crown is easy to get to.  I read reviews of concern, about the lugs riding up high and maybe should be bent down to wards the wrist.  I like the lugs, the way they sit on the wrist, it gives the appearance of the OE standing tall.  The bezel has some play in it, I would say 3-4mm in back play. I don't know if this normal, but it appears all current owners have the same experience with theirs.  The bezel is 60 clicks.

The OE is smaller than the Sea Angler in diameter, but not in height.  The OE rubber strap is awesome.  Looks better in real life.  The dial markers are perfect and the lettering is printed to perfect size to blend with black dial and hands.  The hands are not to big like on the JSAR and are not to small like I noticed on the 07-08 NauticFish 1000 Prof, which I have owned both.  I just cannot say enough of how good Fricker did on the white hands-orange second hand/lettering /dial markers and black dial it's simple but coordinates into awesome presence, to look at.  The lume lights up great and I like it, but it's not Monster lume.

I have to say Poul Brix Poulsen owner of Korsbek Watch Company and Fricker did an outstanding job on Poul's first Diver.

The original rubber straps looks great, but I have it Ted Su Ammo and Kevlar straps.

Man, the Korsbek is a macho beast!  The machined look of the bezel is outstanding, and the dial and hand markings are just masterful.

She really comes alive when the sun hits her too -- thanks much for all your on-site action pix.  hand6.gif

That's a watch and a half.  Still reminds me of a Kobold, but that's not a bad thing at all.  Looks great.

Man Teddy, that's just beautiful.  Just a superb watch.  Congratulations!!!  I'm absolutely kicking myself, with both feet, for not getting in on the OE offer.

:) Thanks for the review! It's a fantastic watch.

My only concern: the 10 mm gap between the lugs and your wrist. That would a serious problem for me :?

Wow!  That thing is a real tank!  Great looking, too.  Good thing you have the arm to hold that baby up!
