I bought a RXW MM20 before, but it was too big, so let it go sadly, because it is very well built, I satisfy with everything with the price I paid! So I decided to get a smaller RXW, the Plasmir Milgraph! Beginning I wasn’t please with the complicated dial… since minimalism is my favorite!
Whatever it is, when I get to know this ETA version is available, I ordered it straight! If not because of stuck at custom last Friday, I should receive this it on that day! Staying too long in custom, over weekend is bit worrying, this is Malaysia, I still can’t trust the government servant completely. It was well packed, thank you to Mr. Shinichi for doing this well, I was very sure it won’t have any problem when first I see it!
RXW packaging is always top class! Triple boxes, white box cover, black outer box, white foam type protector, the laminated wood box! Bit disappointed, because it is smaller than RXW MM20 box, so it can’t put in the extra black Connolly leather and screw driver (not burgeon) and it never come with Selvvt polish cloth!

The user manual was printed on thick paper in English, just like MM20. Ken Trading’s Ginza workshop business card also in the box.
Finally I see this chronograph with my own eyes, first impression is……. Small! Because I’m comparing with the Sinn U1 I’m wearing! The hand feel of the case is really solid and heavy! It is just like MM20.

Watch run well, chronograph start, stop, reset to zero as it should… lume is really good when I put it under my table, I barely seen the tritium tube, it was far below the super luminova plasmir dial!
The bracelet was solid 316 st. steel, no problem, double lock! Better feel than most rolex bracelet! The black Connolly leather strap was a beauty, hand stitch according to spec. Oh, I found a big scratch on the strap…. Immediately I snap a photo with my hand phone camera and email to Shinichi to report on this. Again his response is prompt, he admitted his mistake and said will send me a new strap! I’m happy; customer satisfaction is the most important thing in internet business! I’ll sure buy watch from him again.

When I reach home, I just can’t wait to see the tritium tube in my dark room since the watch is in the box for several hours, the plasmir dial is completely dark! It is ok, not as bright as my ball hydrocarbon, but this is good enough for me to read in complete dark room!

 I get
1.       Case                      -             40mm diameter retro cushion shape 316 st. steel
-                  Soft iron inner case for antimagnetic
2.       Bracelet               -              316 st. steel solid double lock bracelet
3.       Crown                   -              3 screw in crowns for 100m water resistant
4.       Dial                         -              plasmir 3 layers sandwich dial, 12 h3 gas tube at hour marker
5.       Hand                     -              super luminova on chrono and small second hand,
-                  H3 gas tube on hour and minute hand
6.       Movement         -              ETA 7750

First off welcome to 3T and thanks for sharing this with us. ;)

That is a great price for a watch with a 7750 inside. And those watches have also had my eye for over a year now. :)

Great pics and review and great lume. I did not know about the lume on these very cool.

Big congrats and enjoy. ;)

i had been around the forum for more than a year, but due to busy all the time, i just lazy and shy to post....

the lume is great, the sandwich dial must applied with thick layer of super luminova c3, till you can hardly see the tritium tube marker... as you can see, photo shot in complete dark room with only second shutter lag...

thanks for the warm welcome!

WOW yenfoolun - that is a nice Plasmir Milgraph ("PM")!

From memory, the old model has two subregisters. This is the newer model with the beautiful 7750 engine. Having had a pretty poor customer experience lately, I am happy that you got the service you deserve. Though a bit smaller than the comparable Panerai, the PM is a beautifully crafted watch by all accounts. Ken's RXW trading has been accused of bettering Panerai at their own game - something I can attest to with having seen and worn a friend's two register PM. Ken's RXW Solid watches are incredibly well built and if my humble opinion means anything - they are worth the money.

Wonderful photos and thanks for sharing. I do business with some great people in Malaysia, but I understand your comments about government employees there...

Welcome to 3T and I hope you get tons of enjoyment from the watch.

this model coming out together with the 2 subregisters model, but because of the eta 7750 is used, the price is much higher.

i don't think panerai got question on others producing cushion case watches... they never use tritium and sandwich combined dial either...

now trying to put the strap on, but the bracelet is tight, i think before i scratch it, better send it to shop with proper holder to change...

good to hear that, if happen to come to malaysia, just drop me a mail... yenfoolun at gmail dot come

yeah... i 'm working for a property developer here, with to dozen and dozen of approvals needed for development, i have to deal with local authority, state gov, federal gov, government link companies (electricity & water supply, sewage management ....), thats sucks!

yenfoolun - my apologies! I don't know shinichi but I will have a look at the bigwatch site. In any event - I am thrilled that you are happy with the service you received.

My poor experience was not with this seller or anyone associated with him - he was referred by another forum (d'oh!). I am not here to bag anyone, so if there are any Qs - I will answer them on PM.

Ken's Trading and their RXW watches were the subject of a complaint from Panerai citing Ken's Trading as copying their design. Happily - not in respect of the PM, as I understand it. I cite the example to give you an idea of the quality of the watch - it is top notch.

Property development in Malaysia is going ahead at a fast pace - good luck with that, and the officials at every turn!

yeap, rxw only been sued for MM20, the marina militare model...

property development here is badly affected by the petrol price hike lately, inflation is killing alot of poor people here.... not sure you follow on political news here... it is very unstable after the 8march08 election!

Very nice watch.  I like the idea of combining the luminova with the tritium.

Welcome to 3T.
