Thanks guys... I'm truly blown away by the JSAR's mere presence, let alone the high quality build. There is a tad over a quarter of an inch between the crystal and the dial, which is not all that unique, but when you take in consideration that you're looking down at a sapphire crystal spanning nearly an inch and a half across... well this thing is more like a stainless steel shadow box than a watch! If anyone is sitting on the fence regarding purchasing a JSAR, and you have at least a 7.5 inch wrist, GET ONE... you won't even care that it's quartz.

Nice watch, nice rifle!

I have the socom 1. Have not picked out optics yet; I keep on changing my mind between a scout scope and a holo site.

Great watch JD.  I have the TSAR and love it.  A JSAR will be in my future at some point.

Roo, I have the same site JD has on my Mini-14.  It's a great unit, IMO.  Very fast target acquistion and great for close up shooting.
