Thanks for the nice comment! I was about to pull the trigger on a more bling Day-Date in 2-Tone with the stepped bezel, but I figured it a little too "Can't afford the real Rolex". At least this one was a little less identical.

SHADY wrote: are Tudor's still under appreciated? I think they are for the most part. The early Tudor Subs have really caught on as I think have the chronos, but the rest of the Tudor lines don't seem to be as popular. I know that sometime ago Tudor went about re-inventing themselves as a watch brand to seperate themselves from Rolex. Also, Very Nice pickup JKang ![]() Last edited on Mon Feb 9th, 2009 06:35 pm by murphy j |

Shady: Don't know what sales are like in the US, but over here in Asia, they've always been seen as the "poor man's Rolex" with numerous sub-models like the Subs, Prince (Oyster Perp Jr) with stepped and plain bezels, and the old Rander (Exp I Jr). Murphy: Your observations are correct. A lot of Tudor dealers in Singapore are also adopting the vibrant Art Noveau look of the new website, a clear delineation from the more stoic, prestigious Rolex site. Same goes for the models. The new Prince models have a different bezel design to make them a little more "umph" and the Hydronauts now bear very little resemblance to the Subs. The Chronos are also farther departed from the Daytona look. Looks like a step in the right direction.
