I’m generally not a fan of the retro style, but this design seems more tastefully restrained than most, and I haven’t seen anything else quite like it. Bernhardt is known for being a great value, so when Fred offered a discount on this one, I couldn’t resist pulling the trigger. I’ve had it for a few days now and decided to take some photos. Key specs are:

• Limited edition (147/300)
• ETA Unitas 6497 manual wind
• 44mm w/o crown
• 22mm lugs
• Brushed SS case with polished bezel

Fit and finish are first rate. At 44mm, the watch has considerable presence, but it’s thin enough for shirt cuffs to easily slide over. Mildly disappointed that it only has a mineral crystal, but honestly it’s hard to find fault with a Swiss movement watch this well made that sells for around $200. All in all, I’m very happy with it and enthusiastically recommend it. -- Ray

Very nice!  I have been tempted by those Officer's watches for a while now.  Fred is a top-notch guy to work with and offers perhaps the most bang for the buck out there.  My Seashark is fantastic and keeps time within 2 seconds a day.

Congrats on a very classy piece! ThumbsUp02.gif

Wow, what a sweet classic look with good presence.  I was floored when I read its a $200 watch.  I looks like it would be much more.  May have to check into that one.  hand6.gifhand6.gif

The Officer's are so very tempting. Nice look to this vintage two tone. You can't beat a sweet handcranker. Congrats and enjoy!yourock.gif

I wish. A tub of spent wine corks makes for an interesting backdrop.
