Dwatch

I have been anticipating the arrival of this watch for quite some time. It came today and I
was not disappointed.

One major advantage of this watch is that I had the choice of case, case finish, bezel, dial, hands and color strap.

Specs:

    Case width: 46.5mm.Lug to lug length: 52.29mm.Height 17mm.Lug width 24mm.Weight 172 grams.Depth 1000 WR.Movement high grate ETA 2824.AR coated sapphire crystal.

As you can see, the watch came in a secure package.

Case:

What I like about the case I selected is that it has a retro styling to it, and comfortable on the wrist and the PVD coating is a deep black, which I like. I would have preferred the numbers and indices on the bezel including the ring on top, should have been highlighted to the original SS, my preference.

Hands:

I do not like the hands that came with this watch. However, there are alternate styles available at the website in the future.

Lovely catch, BIll. I visited the DWatch website, played designer a little, and now I see what you mean about the numbers and indices on the bezel and the ring. In the mock-ups on the site, that look is more to my taste, too. However - this, as it is, is still pretty special. Within the confines of the all-black case and bezel, I think that the white indices and hour, min and second hands work very well. If you go to the stainless highlights on the bezel later, you have some very colourful hand and indice alternatives to work with - all of which would lift the dial IMHO.

Your collection never fails to astound me, and this is a fitting addition to the wonderful watches you already have.

Wear it in good health!!

I have a Dremel which I am thinking of applying to the numbers and indices. Thanks.

Love the case and the overall stealth appearance. Have to agree with you, Bill... the hand could be better but overall a unique and worth acquisition to add to your most excellent collection.Thumbsup3.gif

Very nice Bill....again I think that the bezel on that watch is the nicest I have seen by anyone. Tired of the inlayed plastic etc inserts. I think your idea would be a good one, add's a bit of demension to the bezel.

Great watch and congratshand6.gif
