Collecting a couple of these for a friend who wants one.. older series that say Navy Seals on the dial still.

Hmm.. what do we have here but a couple of ronda movements... I see another automatic upgrade in the future! ;)

Kewl!  How about a step by step of the process and what parts you need and use.

Ive got one I might want to do although I have no complaint about the Ronda movement..

The luminox will not be suitable for a direct swap, the automatic has a different stem offset from the dial and in a case with that small of a dial there is no way to "fluff" the offset the stem just will not align with the crown tube. It would take some machining of the case to accomidate the eta movement properly and different casebacks to accomidate an automatic.

The 32 degree scooby divers have a large dial that will take a little "pie pan" and accept the automatic and the Orsa was made for the automatic so the quartz ones have an extra thick dial to get the stem aligned in the proper place.

I've had one watch project after another go wrong today, I think I will go buy a watch!
