Cool thing is that the abbreviations for the day are in German!, and it seems like it's been discontinued, so I got one of the last ones around!  Whew!

I really like that clean (for a chrono) dial.

What movement?

I'm not a chrono guy but I can surely appreciate the celan look of this chrono. Can you give us more detail about the watch? Case diameter, movement, etc. Nice score!Thumbsup3.gif

The Junghans Modern automatic chronograph is designed in typical Germanic style with a minimal feel to it.  It has curved sweeping lines and made to the highest of standards.  Contemporary and modern looking watch.

The case is slender and curved with the crystal flush against the plane of the case, attractive looking sandblast finish anti allergenic titanium case.  Has a scratch resistant sapphire crystal and display case back showing off the Swiss made Valjoux 7750 movement (later model have a Junghans J880.1 or J880.2 movement, which is a modified 7750 design).  The movement is decorated with blued screws and cote de Geneve pattern to the bridge and the rotor as well as the Junghans signature and logo on the rotor.

It has stop seconds for accurate time setting.  crisp and clean looking matte black dial with partly skeletonized and partly luminous filled broad hands and contrasting orange sweep seconds chronograph hand and subsidiary seconds hand.  Sixty minute markers printed on angled fixed internal bezel giving a three dimensional effect to the dial.  Symmetrical and well balanced dial design with no un necessary dial clutter.  Conical and contemporary shaped large crown and large pushers.  Day and date at the 3 position, the day wheel is in German.

Width is 42 mm excluding crown and 46 mm including crown, Lug to lug is 48 mm, Thickness is 14 mm.
Water resistant to 5 bar.
