Good morning Guys. Even though this watch is not new to me, it has been somewhat restored by yours truly.

The watch has an ETA 1266 movement with 17 jewels.

Case measures 35mm without the crown.

Interesting note note about Cuervo Y Sobrinos is that they where the jewelry store to the maga ritch in pre fidel Cuba. Many famous people of the time shopped there like Winston Churchill, Albert Einstein, and Clark Gable. Included in the photos posted is the store how it looks now. I think that they sell used clothing out of it now.mistake.gif

The buisness was started the the Cuervo family in late 1800 and became world famous to the point that Rolex's Han's Wildorf used this family to introduce Rolex to Latin America.

Regards

Agreed 100%

And the current model blue Robusto Buceador is absolutely stunning. Ah the wish list...

All current models here if ya care to wait for it to load (no affiliation with me at all).

I saw a listing for them once which called Cuervo y Sobrinos "watches with a latin soul and a Swiss heart". Can't get more romantic than that!
