Sweet watch there Tony.  perfect.gifHow is the fit, finish and size of the case?  Reason I ask is Davidsen is more than likely the guy I will be getting the cases for my pocketwatch homages that I am going to be making.  Chis put me on to him.  Does it have a see through back?  Looking forward to your thoughts on this.

Tombs , fellow overseas that specializes...if that is the right word on making Panerai Homages. His case and dial work IMHO is a couple of notches above the onew that were on E-bay. He also uses Swiss movements is some, much better lumed hands and dials, and saphire crystals.

Try this link to see his work.... s40.photobucket.com

Thanks Tony How about a lume shot? happy1.gif

Scott,

The case is very very nice. Fit and finish are excellent. All surfaces are nice and smooth. even the brushed areas dont have that surated look if that makes sense. Crystal is a domed saphire with AR I think because it is always legible at all angles. I have a solid caseback. When I opened this one up there was also a movement holder but different as it covered the movement from the top like a metal cap???

Lume on the sandwich dial is OK Like a torch on the hands.

The only negative is, and this could just be me, I would like the locking lever to have a littile more firmness when closed. Though it stays in place and is solid.
